A Day at the Races, which comprises a documentary video, photographs and an installation, focuses on the horseracing industry in Ireland. The idea of the winner or loser, the trust placed on a horse, or its use and value via the betting system, are some of the features Mabi Revuelta brings into view and that stand out in contrast against the intelligence, beauty and speed of an animal that, although it was domesticated to keep this market up and running, still retains its essence untamed.
